Your Kindergarten runs affordable holiday programmes for two weeks every school holidays to help busy parents provide their preschoolers with a fun and exciting holiday time. The next holiday programme is:

Xmas: 18th - 22nd December

Summer: 3rd - 19th January 2018

Aramoho & Taihape Kindergartens

Our holiday programmes are definitely not a babysitting service! Our staff are fully qualified and provide a complete early childhood education experience for your children with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor activities.

  • Already enrolled in the Whanganui Kindergarten System? Use this form for Aramoho Xmas and this form for Aramoho Summer.
  • New to the Whanganui Kindergarten System? Then please use this form.


Where is the programme held?

The programmes will be hosted by the Aramoho (15 Field Street) and Taihape Kindergartens (Toroa Road, Taihape).

How long does it run?

The holiday programme runs daily for the duration of the term school holidays (excluding public holidays).

Who can attend?

Our holiday programmes are open to all preschoolers aged 2.5 to 6 years, and not just those already enrolled in kindergarten.

How much does it cost?

20 Hours ECE applies to these programmes so if your child is already enrolled in kindergarten (or if you assign your 20 Hours to kindergarten for the duration of the holidays) the cost is only $10 per family per week!

If you choose not to use your 20 Hours ECE, the cost will be $5.50+GST per hour.
